I'm no magneto genius but have worked with a few on my model L Gravely tractors. These were Wico brand but I think the principles are close. Does the coil ohm out continuous with you meter? Are the points and condenser new? Is there someone you know who has a known good one to swap these items with to see if yours are good? Are the points set to the specs in your shop manual? Are you getting the magneto to click when it turns over? Just some thoughts. Let us know how it turns out. Rich
