I am looking at a 59' Farmall 460 gas with a Swartz wide-front, 3 point adapters( aux. set of remotes for the loader), a good heavy-duty loader but with a cobbled up bucket. It runs great, engine feels strong and all the fluids are clean, everything works(including the TA) The back tires are 50% and the front tires are new. Straight tin with fenders. He is calling it partially restored(painted just the sheetmetal, wheels, wide front and frame rail, but the rest of the paint is faded but still decent. It needs seat cushions. What are this model's strengths/weakneses? I will be plowing, disking, bushogging, spreading, loading manure, round bales etc. with this tractor. Anything special I need to check out on this tractor before I buy? The guy says make an offer. What should I offer?
