I just looked in Ken Updike's book IH Tractor 1955-1985 and it says. "On February 1, 1974 at 9am, IH rolled it's 5 millionth tractor off the assembly line at the Farmall Plant in Rock Island, Illinois. IH was the first tractor manufacturer to produce 5 million tractors. Here Mr. McAllister is seen driving the 1066 5 millionth that day to the cheers of the crowd. Today the 1066 5 millionth is safely stored in a museum in Montana. Sate Historical Society of Wisconsin. It also states the last tractor built was a 5488 w/FWA on April May 14, 1985. The 5488 is owned by the Case Corporation and is currently in storage in Racine, Wisconsin. Hope this answers your question. Bill {Antique Acres}
