Went to Carsten Farm days in Shelby IA this weekend, great little show at this 1880's farmstead. Didn't take my camera - duh. The hit of the show was a big riding lawnmower size "1266 Turbo" It was beautiful. Fellow refused to tell how much money or time he had in it. Custom formed hood/grill that looked exactly right. Home made three point that was correctly porportioned, ran a Kohler 18 WITH A BLOWER! The machine probably started life as a Cub Cadet 1864 but doesn't look like it now. Just a fantastic job. Avoca IA Implement is the probable home of this jewel. Dick
