I just did that -- do you have a service manual? I assume you mean the bearing cap. The number, in this case 4, precedes the part number on the cap. That number goes toward the cam side of the engine. When you install the cap, the service manual says to use a tool that fits in the holes that the rubber dowels go in, I used bolts of about the right size, then torqued the bolts that hold the cap on. Remove whatever you use, oil the plugs, use a rod the size of the holes in the plugs-- I used a phillips screwdriver-- and push the plugs in.
