PRTZMAN55: There is not a lot I can add to what George and Andrew have already told you. These are a great little tractor, however they are approaching or past 50 years of age by now, and like any other tractor can be in good or poor condition from those years of use. You just look them over good and pay accordingly Having said all of this, if you get a good one these little tractors will give you years of economical use for yard work and property maintenance. When something does break as all tractors do, these little tractors do not commit much of an assualt on one's pocket book. I would have no problem setting out right tomorrow to farm 50 acres with one of these. In the 1940s-50s my late Uncle Wallace farmed a 100 acres and milked a 20 cow herd with a Farmall Super A as his only source of farm power. He had time to sing in the local church choir every Sun. plus travelled the country side taking part in a male choir, and they raised 9 children. By the way his front end loader was a manure fork.

Third Brush Generators - by Chris Pratt. While I love straightening sheet metal, cleaning, and painting old tractors, I use every excuse to avoid working on the on the electrics. I find the whole process sheer mystery. I have picked up and attempted to read every auto and farm electrics book with no improvement in the situation.
