IH used to rivet an aluminum ID and Data plate to the engine side of the firewall. Don't know if it was still done in '74. My '47 has one but I don't think my '80 was so equipped. On the newer truck, there is a copy of the line setting ticket glued to the sheetmetal behind the driver's sun visor.
