John: You don't say whether your talking gas or diesel. If diesel, I know you can crank 90 hp out 560 and do it for 10,000 hours. You may well crank 90 hp out of a 400 diesel, but I don't think it will do it for 10,000 hours. Why do you think 560 was the tractor that gave rear end trouble, exactly, more engine. You have to compared more than two tractors, to declare statments as your friend has. When these tractors were new it took some time to pay for one, based on it's hp output, by the same sign one expected the tractor to last a long time.
