Had a chimney fire a few years ago. Wife was home with some little kids she was looking after. She put her foot down and said no more. We went and bought a free standing gas fireplace and we both love it. No more worries. Here in Canada insurance companies don't like woodstoves. Paul

Oliver 550 Purchaser Checklist - by Greg Sheppard. Pound for pound the 550 is better than anything I've seen. It has great power for its size and can really hunker down and lug.
