I could not get the cub to charge after doing all the steps I could do and still nothing. As a last resort I took the entire wiring harness form the tractor and left everything hooked up. The harness was just hanging on the side of the tractor not touching the tractor anywhere and still nothing. I am now in the process of building a new harness for the thing. When I removed the harness I did find a spot on the negative battery cable that was worn trough and touching the side of the tractor. right where it goes down beside the battery box and under the floor board. I don't think it was doing any harm because the battery never sparked or the wires never got hot nor did the battery drain. The tractor always started too. The only way I could get the thing to charge was by grounding the "F" terminal at the VR. It would then put out about 10 - 11 amps. Any one ever had this type problem?
