I bought a 59 240 this week and it came with a two bottom plow, and a double disc harrow. I have had no problem pulling either of these plows in red clay soil. The two bottom plow is set to 9 inches. The only problem I have encountered is getting the tractor to turn in plowed soil while pulling the disc harrow. It is a matter of traction, not power though, as I have no wheel weights or front weights on the tractor.
