A few years ago I was using a lead substite in our motorhome...It had a 460cu Ford engine...I had two large gas tanks, so I used it in the tank that also fed the 12hp Kohler generator....After a few months ,I started having problems ,pluging the fuel filters.....I worked in a research lab...We analyazed the material in the filters ,it was from the lead substite...we looked into it futher and decided it did nothing for the valve seats....I quit using it and put another 50,000 mi.on the motor home....It was still running like a champ when I sold it....my 2 cents worth....
