Howdy Boys, This last weekend I cut down a 4' diameter poplar. I have a 17' log that I'm guessing weighs about 3.5 tons. I needed to yank it over a bit so I hooked up my 300. Pulled the log until I lost traction. At this point the chain is tight and I pushed in the clutch to take it out of gear...shifter wouldn't budge! After some head scratching, I put some blocks under the drawbar and lowered the fast hitch to lift the rear of the tractor and unload the transmission. Worked great! Are there any adjustments to elimnate this problem? Maybe adjust the clutch? I've had this problem to a lesser degree when parking in slopes and such and am really concerned about screwing up the shifter, transmission, and the like. Hope someone can help. Thanks, Thor
