'53 Super A front tire question

My buddy across the road is restoring a '53 Super A. This is his first tractor restoration (he's done several Ford Model A cars) and is quite fussy about originality. Anyway he wants to buy new front tires to match original factory equipment. Question is what were the original front tire sizes? Also for 3-rib fronts, were the outer ribs on the original tires solid, or were they serrated? Thanks! ...Bob M
