1954 Super H value

I know where a Super H is that is just rusting away out in a field. Engine stuck, transmission shifts stiffly, hood is gone but the nose piece is there. All of the tires are shot. I hate to see it rust away but I know it would take a lot to get it going. I haven't talked to the owner yet about it. Is it worth anything or should I see if he will just give it to me. Thanks for any input. Adam
