Cowman, no, I don't think you are wrong, If I happen to stumble across something that is hard to find, and don't need it myself, I will offer it for sale. It is the most fair way I can think of to put that item in the hands of someone who CAN use it. On the other hand, if I know of a young person who is just getting started in this hobby, I will help them out any way I can, Even if it means giving them a part they need, or keeping my hands in my pockets at an auction when I know a beginner is wanting that item.
