The Oilpump is in fine shape. The problem is it was seated good when I pulled it from the Old Block now when I put it in the new block it needs to go 1/8" deeper to seat than it is allowed to go because of the way it bolts to the side of the block. In other words I seat it and then pull it up 1/8" (engine upside down)or so then put the bolts in I plan to see how many thousands it is off seat while bolted to the block as it should be. WHY IS IT DIFFERENT FROM ONE BLOCK TO THE SECOND? It is not seated and will be loosing lots of Oil pressure!
