I suppose that folks here know that the cub is sort of collector item (to a point) only 8HP though. And the new tractors under $4000 are not that great and would never last 40-50 years. The older cubs and cub cadets are very durable and have also seen cubs from the 70-80's sell in the $600- $1000 range in my area. My neighbor bought a 1973 cub 154 loboy 5 years ago for $1600 I think. He uses it for mowing.
