Both posts are good advise. You didn't say if this was a new/sudden problem, after a rebuild, or just trouble shouting an unknown. If it helps diagnose further, the oil reaches the top of the motor through the center main bearing/center camshaft bearing galley. There are three small hex plugs in the side of the block (on the oil filter side) that go into these gallies, verify that path behind the center plug is open. If your overall oil pressure is very high, I would suspect a plugged oil path(which I've seen once after a rebuild with a salvage yard block that had dirt it it that hot tanking didn't clean out), but if very low, I would suspect worn out bearings and maybe a warped cap on the oil pump.
