If your hydraulic cylinder is leaking where the cap connects to the cylinder body itself and there are four LONG bolts that hold the unit together, then my assumption would be that the O-ring in the cap which seals the main body of the cylinder is leaking. First, check the torque on all 4 bolts they should be exactly the same. If not, torque them all to about 45 lbs. test the cylinder. If it is still leaking, then you may want to consider replacing the o-ring. BE DARN SURE TO KEEP EVERYTHING PRISTINE CLEAN!!!!!! Failing to keep everything clean will damage or will shorten the life of your hydraulic system. If you don't have the tools to replace the o-ring and keep everything clean, a new cylinder from Tractor Supply shouldn't be more than 30-40 dollars. Sorry to be so long winded. Kippster
