Does it have a belly pump? I'm wondering if the hole you are referring to isn't for the fill pipe of the belly pump... Anyways, the transmission case where the oil is is behind where the battery mounts... The portion where the battery mounts is called the torque tube and there isn't anything in there other than driveshaft from the engine to transmission...
