The answer depends a little on your tire size. Unless you have unusually narrow tires, you will need more than a foot between the rows where the wheels will run. Narrowest setting for the Super A is 40". But with typical tire sizes, 44" is as narrow as you can set them. For what you are doing, I would suggest the narrowest available setting for your tire size.

Assuming it is 44", you can set your planter up for 3 rows at 12". But you will need to leave about an 18" space before the next 3 rows. Otherwise, the tractor tires will be running too close (if not directly over) the outside row from the previous pass. I suggest you make some sketches of your row and wheel spacings to work this out before you try it with the tractor. The Owner's Manuals for the vegetable cultivators have some drawings that would help but I didn't see one that matched your spacings.

When you drop off the outer planting units and do a single row, a 3 foot spacing will work fine.

All these details go bad if you have exceptionally large tires. Then a little more row width will be required.

For cultivating the small vagetables, I think a tool bar set-up would be preferable. But when your corn starts to get tall, the tool bar will hurt your crop clearance. You may need to make some compromises on the cultivator set-up. Follow the link if you want to take a look at my Cub with a vegetable cultivator installed. It is actually a Super A cultivator (wider than Cub unit). It is set up for 4 rows on 24" spacing, with knife weeders next to the rows and ducksfoots to catch the space between. They move very little soil and can be used close to small plants.
