The D model came out in '37 and was quite a departure from the preceeding C models which looked similar to the earlier A models. The earlier truck was first produced in 1929. It was followed by the C in 1934. Don't know what you mean by "The owner has not yet given it up". Is that another way of saying "he hasn't bought the farm'? If this is something you want you should start negotiations. At the very least you should leave your name and phone #.
