On my links page find Steel Wheel ranch. They sell Rebuilt sprag-type TA's These are rebuilt mechanical (Sprag-type) TA's that replace the troublesome ramp and roller type. Fits 300, 350, 460, SMTA, 400, 450, 560: from $395 + core.

Also on my web site click on the link on the left pane for my Farmall 400 page. I give step by step instructions on how I replaced the TA in my 400.
Also have a transmision rebuild for my 400 there.
