I agree on going with the Grandpa tractor. That's got more value to my sentiments than any other. This is just an isolated case but a friend of mine bushhogs with an 8N and, having problems with his hydraulics, was commenting on it being an involved job to get in there and fix it. Unless you're really lucky, whatever tractor you get at those prices is going to require some work so you might as well put it in on something that's a part of your family history. On the other hand, a live PTO will probably make a noticiable difference in how easily you get your bushhogging done. I guess it boils down to how much value you place on the fact that the A was your grandfather's and weather your owning it will keep it in the family.
