Hi Vern, No, we don't need the trip bottoms out here; there is no rock, other than maybe a guy will see a little bit of gravel in some localities. I pulled one of these things with my old 966 and didn't have any problems whatsoever. But then, I wasn't getting ready to tie into 115 acres of buffalo grass sod either. :>) I was into the 'Red Garage' the other day and the mechanic told me how to turn 'er up. Shucks, it's easier to turn one of 'em up than it is to fill it with fuel. But, I really don't wanna do that if I don't have to. Thanks for the hollar, Allan Allan
