Hello- As some of you may vaguely recall (I posted here during that time quite frequently), I "restored" the majority of my BN last year around this time. One thing I neglected to do was replace the crankshaft oil seal, because I figured it was too much work. Unfortunately it"s losing a lot of oil and making a mess, so I have to give it attention. From what I"ve read and seen, I"ll have to heat the pulley with a torch, and try to pull it off. Then, remove the front cover. I"d imagine it would be a good idea to replace the gasket for that as well? How do I reattach the pulley? Heat it and push it on? I want to make sure I have all planned out before I start the job. Thanks. ffolkes
