I have a Mitsubishi #A1T23377 w/built in regulator on my 1948 Cub lots of room under hood. Really simple to mount. I did not have generator, regulator or mount bracket for my cub when I got it, had to make alternator bracket. If you would like I can post picture of alternator and bracket tomorrow...HTH Keith & Shawn
