Here it is. If you've broken the part I think you have, I'm sorry. If I'm thinking right, there's a part that looks like a plate, maybe a retainer sort of thing. It's really the "Bull Pinion Bearing Cage," (#2 in the drawing, 1-A would be the oil seal you were trying to get out)and a fairly serious part.

The bearing cage can't be removed without unbolting the bull gear from the axle and pulling it out of the way. I hope I got that wrong, otherwise a salvage yard would be the best place for another one. Good Luck, Wm
