Look on the tractor for a serial number tag. Depending on the tractor, it could be on the transmission bell housing at the rear of the engine, or on the seat support, or on the front steering support. The tag may be difficult to read, but the serial numbers are stamped in. Just the serial number isn't enough to identify the tractor, but it will help in determining the year it was assembled. The tag may also have other writing on it that will identify the tractor, but if it's been sitting out for years, it's probably unreadable.
