Prices all depend on Who, what, when, and where. I've seen tractors sell for cheap to way to high. Never makes any since any more. Just go to a few auctions and you will see things sell for twice what they would cost new at one and 1/4 what new is at another one. Went to one auction years ago and a lincoln buzz box sold for $3?? and what was funny was that at the time a brand new one with hood sold for $159.95. Guy walked up to me and said man I got a good deal on that didn't I, I told him nope you got took and you did it to your self. Told him what a new one cost and he said man your right should check prices before I buy again I said yep.

Product Review: Lead Substitutes - by Mike Schordine. Lead was oriinally added to gasoline as an upper cylinder lubricant. It lubes the valves and seats. If you rebuild the motor, you could use hardened seats and valves, and unleaded fuel. But if your old tractor runs good, a simple lead substitute added to the gas is a perfectly reasonable solution. And, if you are like me, your tractor is under cover, but it sits outside. So with every temperature change, the humidity in the air collects in the fuel tank, in the form of water.
