i'd say $3800 is a bargain if the tractor runs even halfway decent. the 506 is the manual trip model, right? i have 2 new idea 504s. one came from a 656 utility, now on a 3010. the other came from a massey 165, now on a 4010. new idea made mounting kits to adapt those loaders to many tractors of the mid/ late 60s. there is enough adjustment in the subframe, lengthwise, to fit a lot of tractors. clamping around the back axle is also pretty straightforward. you may need to do some creative adapting on the bolt holes for the plate where the front brace hooks to the tractor by the radiator. those are rugged loaders for their day. they can lift high too.
