Thanks very much. I was afraid if I pulled the 'head' off, there might be retained pressure or compressed springs and detent balls and such that might fly everywhere. The leather boots on mine look completely serviceable and reusable. Where did you get your kit and what did it cost? I see them on ebay for $92 and change from some vendor here in Kentucky. The plungers (I have been told they are 'spool valves') only have one O ring and that has to be the culprit on mine...no other leaks evident anywhere. I'll spring for the kit and do it right....don't want to go here again! Thanks, Mark
