Condensers can be temperature sensitive as well. And they are cheaper. I almost killed an old man several years ago. He was dragging cedar trees for me with an A with a magneto. The condenser would get hot after about 20 minutes and the tractor would die. It was hand crank and he would crank it and fiddle with it until it cooled and started. He did this all day one day, thinking he was stalling it. When he finally came to the house and told me what he was doing we changed the condenser and fixed the problem.
