Mike, Glad to hear your calf is doing good. My daughter is still takeing care of the twin calves. I found one of my pails and she is using it. Makes feeding a little easier. The calves are beginnig to eat a litte feed and hay. We are still going thru a 25 pound bag of milk replacer about each week. Thats beginning to add$$$.

I wish my calf loss was as low as yours. Seems I either don't have the time or maybe just don't take the time to watch the cattle as close as I should. Lost a set of twins back in the summer and two more calfs all at about the same time. I think it was a combination of heat and cows not giving enough milk. Probably could have saved them if I had found them in time.

I feed range cubes either in a trough or on the ground. Nearly get trampled every time. My cows used to not be that way. Not sure why they are so aggressive now.
