John, Checked over some more things on the C. First I pulled off the voltage regulator and cleaned up the top of the generator where it mounts to. Put it back together, repolarized the gen, got a nice spark. Started it up and still just a slight charge. I ran an extra wire from the VR mounting base back to the ground post of the battery and still nothing. Then hooked up the field to ground and it worked perfectly. The VR is stamped on the side for 6 volt positive ground. Any ideas? Thanks
