Guys: There is a dowm side to duels on your H tractors. Duels take a substancial amount of power. Back in the early 1950s we had a neighbor that did custom baling, basically taxing the equipment he had more or less to the limit. Then he encountered a wet year, flotation was the order of the day. He put duels on the H, duels and a tandem axle device on heavy side of baler.
He soon discovered all these add ons were robbing his power badly. The then relatively new H had trouble even getting moving in 5th gear with baler behind it. He soon traded the H for a SM,it had the added power needed to handle duels. Over the years I had duels for my 560, 656 and 1066. The 1066 was the only one of the group I never removed the duels. Plain and simple duels take horse power.
