Mark: One question, is this transmission case wide enough for a large enough driven gear to give you a gear slower than 1st?
I don't know much about the device in the photo I posted, however I suspect he has used the same reduction gears as used in the factory PTO, and instead of having the driven pto shaft directly below the driver, he sets it at 45 degrees, then drives the tractor from that using only lower shaft of transmission. In other words his creeper only has one speed. He may do this using a pinion to the ring gear coming in from rear. I have toyed with building a similar device, putting PTO shaft dead center on tractor, then having a clutch between pto and drive to wheels. This would give Live PTO in the creeper gear.
Now I've got the wheels turning upstairs, haven't I.
