MD9??? no such thing. must be WD9 or TD9.but anyhow it seems you want to bleed the fuel system.just bleed the primary filter,and secondary filter.if you need to, loosen injector lines at injectors to bleed pump and lines.the flip cap on top is for engine oil.the pump holds about 2 cups of oil.the 1/8 plug on btm is the oil drain.you change this oil at same time as engine oil, or sooner as the transfer pump seals usually leak diesel in here.
