The pulley is adjustable by closing the two faces together. The front half is mounted on threads. These threads are usually rusty and tough to work with. There is a set screw in the flange in the adjustable half. This must be removed, or loosened till it almost comes out. Spray it down with penetrating juice of yur choice. ATFluid is good. Using a brass drift tap modestly forward and back on the boss that the set screw is screwed into, and the blank boss on the other side. Be patient, and work at it gently. they are cast, and do break. If you can push in the middle of the belt span with your thumb, and it pushes in an inch or less with pretty firm pressure, it is correct. Looseness in this belt will still drive things. Too tight and the W/P bearings get overloaded. Tell us how it works out. JimN
