We picked this up today. It is a Komatsu PC38UU-2. We intend to use it for building our road (culverts and ditches), a small pond, clearing our property line for fencing, and the like. The 1st job I did was dig up a 15" sweet gum stump... It did fine.
I had thought of a backhoe, but since I already have the Farmall 504 and loader, all I needed was a hoe. I am problably going to build a small thumb and use it to restack the windrows after I burn them for the first go-round. Then what will not burn I'll dig a pit and burn the stumps that do not burn on the first pass. Then what ever is left I'll bury.
