Despite what Jim says about the PTO pump, the Prince pump will easily handle 1200 RPM. The same pump is used with 1000 RPM PTO. The mfg changes out the internal splines to suit 540 or 1000 PTO shafts. I can't think of any small hydraulic gear pump that can't run at 2000-2500.
I think I lucked out today, I bought a tank off an old "farmhand" (the kind that has a frame around the tractor and a big hay basket). I'm not sure how much fluid the tank holds but probably at least 10 gallons. :)
