Bernie, I have both a M and H with 9 speed Heisler transmissions and really like them. I've had the M for several years and it is certainly a great transport tractor when hauling baled hay to the barn. I've never used it in tillage work but think that extra speed range whould come in handy for the lighter dirt stuff. I always heard they were awesome with a rotary hoe. I haven't used the H very much as I just acquired it recently but had been looking for one for years ever since I obtained the M. The Heisler (you may have a M&W as you didn't say) on a H is very difficult to find but should be equally as nice to use. Yes, they shift very nice and on my M it is normally always in high range for how it is used. I think ou are aware that they over speed your PTO and belly pump as well so you need to be careful when using those power devices. The Heisler has a disconnect to the belly pump you can activate when using the high speed range but I don't know what M&W offered with theirs. I never heard anything about one being a weak link in the drive train and not into pulling so don't have any comment for that portion of your thread, Hal.

My dad dreamed that some day he would have his own tractor with every implement he could get. When he rea
