Y'know, Marty is the author of his own problems. Take packaging for example. This last purchase went bad because the Fast Hitch bail (hoop) split its box and the shipper and shippee could no longer be identified. That bail got sent to a dumpster in NY State. The second bail, supplied by Marty and sent 2nd-day-air free at eBay's insistence, almost didn't make it as well. The two ends had already punctured the used oversized flat-screen TV box in two places.
And then there are the broken-in-shipment parts and the defective prior-to-shipment parts. God help us if he actually owned a torch.
I don't want him to go away. I just want an attitude adjustment whereby he "aims-to-please" instead of treating his buyers as adversaries. He would have more bidders and higher nets. He appears to be a shooting star and should disappear via his own stupidity soon.
I don't want a "pound of flesh" but I would like to know about the tactical initiatives in your second paragraph. Is there an eBay guerilla warfare manual available somewhere. I know you are going to say "Sure. You can get it on eBay".
