Starting 560

A retired neighbor is letting me use his 560 diesel if we can get it running. He parked it 12 years ago (a leaking steering pump), and it hasn't been started since then.

We have new fuel, oil, filters, etc. When we crank it over with the starter we get some exhaust out the stack, but no hint of it catching. We have loosened a couple of injectors and get fuel there, but the other lines want to turn with the nut, so we stopped for fear of crimping a fuel line.

Any suggestions for things to check/try would be greatly appreciated!
