Stan, Heavy is one word to describe the rear wheel weight. Don't have the actual weight handy but think it's about 150 lbs. Anything is possible as far as if yours are welded on. Probably just severly rusted and you may have to use a torch to get them off but I'd reserve that for last ditch effort. Make sure you have a clear path to get out of the way if that weight drops off the wheel. Keep the kids and the small critters in the house the day you decide to take off the weights.//FB
