With the bowl off, put a pan under the carb and turn on the fuel. If nothing comes out, wiggle the float. it should allow fuel. If fuel does come out, lift the float gently to see if it shuts off when raised to the correct height. It is more difficult to measure the float when mounted because raising it carefully to the shut off point doesn't use gravity, it uses your sensitivity holding it up. Jim.
