stalling 140

My farmall 140 starts to stall out when pulling a heavy load or pushing snow in cold weather. When it starts to stall, pushing down on the clutch stops the problem and it idles fine. Putting it in gear starts the process over again. Seems like a fuel problem to me,but would appreciate some a few other opinions. Thanks
