good point, the line needs to be clean and tight. Also the line from the front of the head to the governor should be checked. The rest of the system is on the right side of the engine, the plate which covers the valve push rods has a fine mesh wire filter inside which filters the air that enters through the tube that hangs down just inside the frame rail.
