The power streering unit on my 560 on the front bolster leaks be the steering shaft. I was wondering if you can just slide the cover off with the worm gear without taking the cylinder and front bolster off. Is it possible to leave the worm gear shaft in the cylinder and remove the cover. The powersteering works fine, it just leaks where the worm gear shaft comes out and couples to the U-joint. Any help would be appreciated.
